Hey y'all, welcome to my blog! I recently graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Retailing (go gamecocks) and am so excited to start this new chapter in my life with blogging. I've contemplated starting a blog for many years now and have finally decided to just go for it. The main purpose of The BasicAllie is just as a creative outlet to share all the things I love and am passionate about.

Style: I'd say my fashion choices are a mix of classic preppy with a trendy twist. I'm all about trying the latest trend while still being comfy, cute, and affordable.

Beauty: I'm constantly trying new beauty finds from polish colors to face masks. I'll try it all, so you don't have to. (unless it turns out well, then def give it a try)

Recipes: Martha Stewart is who I aspire to be in life. Here you'll be able to find great easy dinner ideas, delectable sweet treats, and something nice to sip on.
