Laid Back Weekend Style

These few pieces have been my go-to recently! 2021 is all about comfort, and these items fit the bill. I put together this outfit as style inspiration for (social distantly) running weekend errands or grabbing a to-go coffee while staying cozy and cute.

My newest obsession that I have been grabbing from my closet time and time again is the Gap Fleece Turtleneck. Soft doesn't even begin to describe the plush thick fleece of this turtleneck! I especially love the elastic wrist, loose sleeves, and big funnel neck. (don't you just hate when turtlenecks are too tight?) They have been on MAJOR sale recently (thanks Gap for all the sale codes!), so I ordered it in two colors, cream and navy! Very versatile, I know. But if you want to add a brighter pop of color for spring, the top also comes in hot pink and mint. (heart eyes) Runs TTS, so get your regular size.

Next up, we have the Aerie OFFLINE Real Me High Waisted Leggings . During quarantine I bought my first pair of Aerie leggings. (a bit behind, I know!) Three new pairs later, I decided that I needed to add navy leggings to the mix! Buttery soft, high waisted, super stretchy, and sucks you in; supportive enough for a workout but comfy enough for everyday wear. I also love how inclusive Aerie is in their sizing! I've been buying the Short length leggings (since I'm 5'4) and am so glad to have found a pair of leggings that does not bunch up at my ankles.

No running errands look is complete without a classic, comfortable, yet stylish pair of white sneakers. I'm an Adidas girl, and love how the Women's Adidas Pure is easy to slip on, lightweight, and a great price too at $39! I usually size down in Adidas so keep that in mind if you're looking for a pair.

Now if your weekend activities do not include styling your hair beyond the point of throwing it up in a messy bun (whose does?), Then this timeless Vineyard Vines Canvas Baseball Cap is the perfect outfit addition to cover up those quarantine roots. I love the logo-less simple style and easy to maintain and clean cotton fabric.

Lastly, you always need one or two special pieces to spruce up your outfit. I adore these Thick Gold Hoop Earrings from J.Crew Factory that are currently on sale for only $9.50! I frequently get earrings from J.Crew because they are usually so light weight I forget I have them on. I've also been eyeing these Cole Haan Oversized Round Sunglasses at Nordstrom Rack. Timeless and chic, these sunglasses remind me of Audrey Hepburn's classic style.
